Sydney turns 11

 Sydney is 11! I cant even believe how fast time flies! When we were in the NICU for over 5 months i thought we were never leaving.  She is truly a miracle.  I know I say it every post but I think back to the week I had her 11 years ago and how scared I was and truly had no idea the roller coaster we would go through that first year.  Syd is a strong girl with a huge heart!

Summer

We ended school at Kittredge and moved to a new house! The girls also went to overnight camp! We had a fun and busy summer with family and friends!

10 Year NICU Anniversary!!

Today is Sydney's 10 year NICU Anniversary! She is doing awesome!

This is TEN!!!

I can't believe Sydney is TEN! I remember being in the NICU with Sydney and thinking we were never going to get out of there.  We were in the room in front of the nurses station for months and I didnt think we would get moved to a room closer to the door.  Ten is a big deal to us.  A big deal after being in the NICU for over 5 months, three seasons and five different NICU doctors monthly rounds.  My mom would come every day and bring an outfit, Sydney was the best dressed before she even left the NICU.   NICU graduates would come in to visit and I would run by the waiting area because I just thought that will never be us.  Well Sydney is a fighter! Strong, resilient and she really has defied all the odds against her.  She is one of the sweetest, kindest girls.  I am so thankful for her and the bond we have.  Happy 10th Birthday Sydney!!

Where has the time gone! Sydney is in 4th grade and Eden is in 1st grade!!!
