Happy Sweet 16 to our miracle Sydney!!!! So proud of you and all of your accomplishments! You are strong, kind, hardworking, loving, and most of all an amazing young lady!!! Love you! 

HAPPY 15TH BIRTHDAY!!!

 Happy 15th Birthday to Sydney! Its hard to believe our tiny miracle turned 15!!! Syd is truly one of a kind.  She is fun, funny, sweet, hardworking, sporty, smart, a great big sister and most of all truly an amazing young women.  Thinking back to our NICU stay which was over 5 months, 3 seasons, and 8 attending physicans, we never thought we were getting out of there! But in normal Sydney fashion, she is strong and resilient!!!!

8th Grade Graduation and off to High School

 Sydney graduated 8th grade and is off to high school!! Eden graduated 5th grade and is off to middle school. Both girls had an amazing lacrosse season with Mike as their awesome coach! They both play club lacrosse! The girls are having an amazing summer at overnight camp!!

This is 14

 Syd is 14 years old today! She is strong, confident, amazing, kind, caring, friendly, hardworking and so much more.  It is so hard to list all of Sydneys amazing qualities.  She is truly a miracle!

13 Year NICU Anniversary

 Five and a half months in the NICU, three seasons and five attending doctors, Syd is a happy and healthy 13 year old.  She was born on November 21st , 2007 and came home from the NICU on April 7, 2008.  We love celebrating this anniversary every year!!

Happy 13th Birthday Sydney and Mazel Tov on your Bat Mitzvah

What amazing day! Sydney turned 13 and had her Bat Mitzvah.  To say we are proud is an understatement.  Studying for her Bat Mitzvah during COVID with things constantly changing shows us what an amazing person Syd truly is.  The night was so special.  Sydney led the service with confidence and maturity.  We are so proud!

 

 

12 YEAR NICU ANNIVERSARY!! 4-7-2020

Today is Sydney's 12 year NICU Anniversary.  We were all talking about Sydneys 5 1/2 month NICU stay and we told the girls that one night we were not able to go because there was an ice storm. I was devastated I couldn't go into see Syd.  The nurses were beyond amazing and always made me feel better.  All the staff took such great care of Syd like she was their family.  I cant imagine what the parents are going thru right now not being able to go into the NICU to see their baby/babies.  I  do know that the nurses are making sure they are loved and cared for. 

We send love and good health to all of our family and friends.  Sending lots of love to the NICU staff who we have a special place in our hearts for.
